Our Mission Statement

ServiceAnimalTravel.com (hereunder "SAT", "We" or "Our") seeks to help those with qualified disabilities to travel with their support animals on airlines and other public transportation carriers at no additional cost. You must be at least 18 years or older to register and/or use our website and services.

Our valued patients, as qualified individuals under the law, have used our psychotherapist's Letter of Recommendation to travel to various locations at varying times of the day. To our knowledge, none of our qualified patients have ever been legally denied access by any third party (i.e. airlines) to fly with their emotional support dogs or been charged additional pet fees to do so. Likewise, none of our patients have ever been denied access to live with their ESAs in no-pet buildings or neighborhoods. Our service works and we're happy to provide it.

Please note: We do NOT certify any dogs or other animals as trained service animals or ESA. We only assist individuals who qualify to protect their legal rights to travel with an emotional support animal at no additional cost per trip.

Legal Advice

We are mental health professionals who have confirmed all applicable laws with independent disability attorneys. We know the law and adhere to it in every way. Using a dog for emotional support during air travel is a covered practice under the federal disabilities law, and this is not the same practice as a using a service animal for a physical impairment. We vet all of our patients to ensure that they are qualified disabled persons under the law before our mental health professionals provide any prescriptions or Letters of Recommendations. The material found on this site is not intended to be legal advice, nor does any legal information presented on this site establish an attorney-client relationship. Legal or other professional advice by an independent third party should be sought by users of this site before acting or relying on any material, in whole or in part, found on this website. As of September 28, 2012, this site's material is correct and accurate upon all information and belief.

Please contact the transportation carrier (i.e. airline) you will be traveling with prior to any travels with your dog to ensure you are complying with all company, local, state and federal rules, laws and statutes. For international flights, certain states (i.e. Hawaii) and nations may have quarantine regulations for animals not up to date with vaccinations so traveling to those destinations with such documentation is recommended.

SAT, its owners, directors, employees or affiliates, are not liable for the acts of third parties (i.e. airlines) if you are denied access to travel with your support animal regardless of whether such denial is incorrect or unlawful. If you are denied access to travel or live with your support animal by a third party, it is likely due to the level of training and/or behavior of the support animal you are using and not due to any documentation on this website or provided by our mental health professionals.

SAT, its owners, directors, employees or affiliates, accept no responsibility for the results of any actions taken on the basis of information on this website, its Qualification Questionnaire, delivery of its recommendations, if applicable, or other services and products, nor for the accuracy or completeness of the material.

We do NOT certify any animals to serve as working service animals or emotional support animals (ESA). We only provide assistance to disabled individuals who need help understanding the law and gaining access to protection under the ADA, ACAA, HUD or other relevant federal statutes. We do not confuse service animals with ESA, although we can help disabled people understand the law concerning both labels. We do not provide any formal diagnosis as that is not required under the federal law to seek protection for one's disability under the law. We do not provide monetary refunds for any services or documentation provided by SAT to patients based on patient submitted information (i.e. Qualification Questionnaire) that has been reviewed and approved by SAT.
